Welcome to my page :)

I am Nguyen. I obtained my Ph.D. in Culture, Literacy, and Language from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Before moving to the U.S., I used to work as an ESL teacher in Vietnam. Then I earned my M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Houston and worked in Houston for two years as a program coordinator.

I am passionate about language learning and teaching, language socialization, multiliteracies, language ideology, and identity among culturally and linguistically diverse populations. I am currently working as an ELA faculty in the BEdA unit.

In my free time, I love traveling and doing food tours with my loved ones. :)
