About Me:

I have been teaching at SVC now for a little over 10 years.  I primarily teach math and chemistry, and I really enjoy helping students understand both subjects.  Before SVC, I taught in the Burlington-Edison School District for 4 years.  Before that, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education from Washington State University, and a master’s degree in Adult and Higher Education from Western Washington University.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, going to metal concerts, and attending Mariner and Kraken games.  Several friends from college and I are also on a quest to visit every Major League Baseball stadium, every NASCAR track, and every Division-I basketball school in the country (all 358 of them!).

I look forward to working with you this quarter!
