I teach students taking MATH 97, 99, 141, 142, and WMATH100. My primary goal is to create a community of respect within my classroom. I want students to feel safe to ask the questions that have held them back from understanding this material before. Many students registering for my classes have had negative experiences with math in the past, and my goal is to help you build an understanding so you can master the material rather than feeling conquered by it. There are so many support resources available on this campus that if you are ready to put in the effort and ask the questions you have, then I’ll look forward to working with you throughout the quarter and helping you check this pre-requisite off your list, so you can pursue the dreams that are calling to you.
