Academic Advisor - Whidbey Island Campus

Hi!  I'm Erin! 

I am an academic advisor at the Whidbey Island Campus of Skagit Valley College.  I work in the student services office where you can schedule appointments to meet with me using my QR code right outside of the Enrollment Services window!  You may have seen me already for registration assistance or creating an educational plan.  I also roam around campus from time to time, so if you see me outside my office say "Hi"!

I am in the office Monday through Thursday (even during breaks between quarters when you're not even in class) and work remotely on Fridays.  E-mailing me is the best way to contact me if you have any questions (Erin.Shiflett@skagit.edu).  I will respond the fastest that way when I'm back at work.

I generally help with questions about classes, scheduling, degree paths, majors, and transferring.  If you have questions about other things please still ask me, as I can get you to the person who will be the expert on that topic.  If I don't know the answer, I can find you someone who does!  Please utilize me for this, as navigating college is tough, but easier for me, as this is my job! :)  I'm here to help!  Also, if you want to talk about travelling, pets, food, or anything else, I'm always game for fun conversations!  See you soon!
