Teaching is my passion.  I have a master's degree from Northern Arizona University in Teaching Physical Science.  I teach developmental math and Chemistry 121, 161 and Astronomy.

My dad was a colonel in the Army, so I was raised an "army brat".  I was born in Kentucky and moved every three years of my young life.  I lived in Washington, DC, Stuttgart, Deutschland, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, San Antonio, Texas, and Las Curces, New Mexico.  I found the northwest after 20+ years in Flagstaff, Arizona. I have three amazing children, Cydney, Kaden, and Ellysen and am married to a fellow teacher.  I have done research in Metal Vapor Synthesis and have studied Cataclysmic Variable Stars.  I've also been a docent at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona.

When I'm not teaching, I'm appreciating the antics of my family and my dog, running, or doing yoga. You may also find me teaching yoga on a mat or on a stand up paddle board.  Namaste'
