In 2005, I began working in the Short Stay unit at Torrance Memorial Medical Center (TMMC). This is the hospital where I was born. I went back to school for my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). I graduated in 2008. I worked as a clinical instructor at El Camino College. I continued my education in CSUDH to achieve a Master of Science in Nursing. I graduated in 2013. I worked as a clinical instructor in University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). In September 2016, I left my job at (TMMC) after working there eleven years because I accepted a new position at Skagit Valley College as a Nursing Instructor.
