I earned both my BA in Economics and MBA from Western Washington University, and have been teaching at Skagit Valley College since 2010. Prior to teaching, I worked for a regional bank and with a few different non-profit organizations in Europe, West Africa, and South America. Beyond spending time with my wife and kids, I also enjoy watching and playing sports (mostly watching these days – I grew up playing soccer, but have love for the Seahawks, Sounders, and Mariners), listening to music (Mumford & Sons, Linkin Park, David Gray, Tribalistas, and Wyclef Jean are some of my favorites), and playing drums every now and then.
