I started teaching at SVC in 2009 and have found the school to have a remarkably positive and thriving culture. My passion is to help those students who have a fear (or loathing) of math overcome that emotion, and to encourage those that already excel to take their skills to the next level.
My wife, Susanna, and I have two young boys who keep us busy and on the verge of insanity. My interests outside of school include but are not limited to: hiking, chess, most sports, trail running, reading, and watching Kam Chancellor destroy opponents.

When you're ten years old, and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again.
