Winter Quarter 2021 Course Schedule

Remote Instruction and Course 

All of my classes are asynchronous, meaning that you do not have to show up for class at a specific time or on a specific day. I will have Zoom meeting for those who have questions about assignments in the modules or who want to practice English. I will also record all Zoom meeting and post them so you can watch or practice along. In addition I have Office Hours two days a week that are listed below. There are no textbooks required for the class, and all of the information and material will be available in the Canvas website for the course. The class is a 10 credit course, and you will earn attendance hours by completing all of the weekly assignments and quizzes. The assignments from the modules are due at the end of the week on Sunday at 11:59 pm. 

 

Courses for Winter Quarter 2021 

English Language Acquisition Level 2 

Students improve English listening, speaking, reading, and writing and comprehension with a goal to develop college and career readiness skills.

English Language Acquisition Level 3 

Students improve English listening, speaking, reading, and writing and comprehension with a goal to develop college and career readiness skills.

English Language Grammar 065 Levels 3 and 4 

Grammar 065 is a course for English acquisition learners in Level 3 and level 4. It is taught to practice the English grammar while making connections with the activities in ELA 013 and 014 classes. You will be practicing the 8 parts of speech, that include verb tenses, nouns, adjectives, adverbs conjunctions and prepositions to aid you in your ELA classes.
