Graphing calculator info

Either the TI83 or TI84 graphing calculator is required for math 141 and 146. If you do not own one, you may rent one from Skagit Valley College. The rental fee is $20 per quarter. If you are interested, please contact me.

A course designed to prepare students for entry into college-level mathematics courses. Topics include: systems of equations, linear and absolute value inequalities, rational exponents and radicals, complex numbers, solving and graphing quadratic equations, composite and inverse functions, logarithmic and exponential functions. Math& 146 DEW (online): Introduction to Probability and Statitics

This course presents a connected introduction to probability and statistics using statistical inference as its theme. The course covers distribution of measurements, probability distributions, the binomial and normal probability distributions, sample estimation, and tests of hypothesis. A TI-83 graphing calculator is required.
Prerequisite: Math 099 with a grade of C or higher or equivalent math placement score.
