A little Bit About Me:
1998 - Bachelor’s of Science: Biology Major/Chemistry Minor from George Fox University
2000 - Master’s Degree in Physiology from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
2002 - Received my Teaching Certificate for middle and high school teaching
2000-2004 - North Carolina Teaching: Middle School Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth Science; and I also taught at Durham Technical Community College (A&P, Cell Biology, and Botany).
2005-2006 - Bremerton, WA Teaching: High School Biology, Life Science, and A & P; and I also taught Cell Biology at Olympic Community College
2006-present - Skagit Valley College Biology Department. I am currently the Division Chair for Sciences, and I am very involved with pre-nursing advising.

My husband Brian also works here. We live in Mount Vernon and enjoy hiking and spending time with our two boys.
